Official trailer for Hulu series Chad Powers starring Glen Powell
According to CinemaDrame News Agency, Hulu has released the first official trailer for the series Chad Powers, starring Glen Powell. Powell also serves as co-creator and executive producer of the project alongside Michael Waldron.
Filmed in Atlanta, the series tells the story of a quarterback whose career is jeopardized after misconduct threatens his future. He disguises himself and joins a Southern football team under a new persona—Chad Powers, a kind and approachable player. The cast also includes Perry Mattfeld, Quentin Plair, Wynn Everett, Frankie A. Rodriguez, and Steve Zahn.
Waldron and Powell previously said in a joint statement: “We’ve both been die-hard fans of college football. When we first saw Eli [Manning] as Chad Powers, we knew it was our way into a big, entertaining story in this world. We’re thrilled to be working with this team and can’t wait to put Chad in the game. Think fast, run fast.”
Powell is known for his roles in Hit Man, Twisters, Top Gun: Maverick, and Anyone But You, and will soon appear in Edgar Wright’s upcoming remake of The Running Man.
Chad Powers consists of six episodes, with the first two premiering on September 30.
